Workforce Investment Act – One Stop Centers
The WIA enables people to access a wide array of job training, education and employment services at a One Stop Career Center. At the One Stop Center, job seekers access resume preparation services, the Michigan Talent Bank, job search assistance, testing, employment plan development, and training. Other Job Related Strategies and Resources
No Worker Left Behind Program is a one-time offer for Michigan displaced workers. This program provides up to two years of free tuition at any Michigan community college or other approved training program. Displaced workers can receive training in high demand skills while receiving unemployment benefits. To apply for the No Worker Left Behind Program, contact any of the Michigan WIA centers.
