DETROIT AREA AGENCY ON AGING’S “THE SENIOR SOLUTION” PREMIERS ON WGPR 107.5 FM
DETROIT, MI – December 9, 2004 – Detroit Area Agency on Aging’s radio program “The Senior Solution” will premier on WGPR 107.5 FM on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 10:00 A.M.
The Senior Solution has been a staple in Detroit talk radio for over three years, originating on WQBH 1400 AM before the station was sold in September 2004. Hosted by Paul Bridgewater, Executive Director of Detroit Area Agency on Aging, The Senior Solution has covered a myriad of topics important to seniors and their caregivers.
“During our three years on air, we have tackled issues that many seniors living in metropolitan Detroit expressed concern about. Our topics range from prescription drugs to the AIDS epidemic among older adults to programs available to help low-income seniors pay their utility bills,” said Paul Bridgewater. “We understand that a lot of seniors are homebound and The Senior Solution is just one way to filter important information to this at-risk population. We are really looking forward to being back on the air.”
