Centralized Information, Referral and Assessment Department– provides assistance to callers searching for information on services for the aging or disable population. Our Intake and Referral Specialists or Pre-Screeners would respond to calls, provide information, refer to providers and enter caller’s data into our database. Our Intake and Referral Specialists and Pre-Screeners are all ARIS certified; and typical candidate would be expected to have ARIS certification or acquire it with-in first year of employment. Most of the time workers would have bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates also would need to have excellent phone skills, ability to communicate with diverse callers, and knowledge of services in the Detroit area. Will utilize resource database and enter relevant data into the system.
