Fulltime position available for individual with 3+ years of experience in customer service. Experience working with elderly or disabled population a plus. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid Programs, and related programs; previous experience in data entry and/or medical records; excellent human relations skills. Excellent organizational and customer
service skills.
Will provide support to DAAA clients, providers, and Care Managers with clerical activities related to grievance and appeals, and care coordination of CM and Waiver clients. Will address client issues and answer questions regarding services; carefully and objectively document all client and provider grievances and assure complete record keeping; input new cases in MICIS system within the required timeline; accurately update client records and care plan information; make reassessment appointments for contracted staff and assure notification of such; assemble proper files (blue/green and manila) for a new client and forward for processing. Process orders for direct purchase of services documented by Care Manager and enter into client’s care plan. Inform care provider of stop service requests. Accurately process and file all incoming client documents. Assist Care Managers in collecting data for and managing the re-determination process.
